While obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree, Kaitlyn spent her time as the Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator for the University of North Georgia’s Food Pantry, providing nonperishable food items and services to those in need. Kaitlyn has spent her career working with other non-profit organizations such as The Tree House where she conducted supervised visitation between parents and children, as well as provided parents with the necessary tools and resources for parenting. During her last year at UNG, Kaitlyn interned with Jesse’s House, shadowing and observing the day to day lives of teens in foster care. She enjoyed the positive and educational atmosphere that Jesse’s House provided and became a member of the Direct Care Staff. In May of 2022, Kaitlyn graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and Administration Delivery with a minor in Sociology. Through her dedication and caring personality, Kaitlyn earned an administrative position in June of 2023. She now works as a Human Services Professional, ensuring each resident’s medical, psychological, educational, and social needs are being met. When she is not serving the youth of Jesse’s House, Kaitlyn enjoys reading, attending sporting event, and spending time with her family.
